Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG)

Cost is $95.00 at our RCG Sydney, Parramatta and Chatswood - North Sydney training centres. Hospitality Training Australia is approved by the Office of Liquor, Gaming & Racing to deliver the Responsible Conduct Gambling (RCG) in Sydney.Please bring along Photo ID

Participants of this course will receive a  NSW Interim Certificate from the Office of Liquor, Gaming and Racing (OLGR) Certificates, which must be taken to Service NSW to order the NSW Photo ID. It forms part of the nationally accredited unit of competence Responsible Gambling Service SITHGAM201.

This course deals with the skills and knowledge requirements for responsible conduct of gambling under State/Territory legislation. All staff working in gaming areas of hotels and registered  clubs  are required to complete this course.

You can complete your Responsible Conduct of Gambling RCG, regualrly at our Sydney, Parramatta, and Chatswood, North Sydney Training Centre.

The RCG course is approved with New South Wales Office of Liquor, Gaming and Racing (OLGR) approved. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to scheduled starting time as students arriving late will not be permitted into class.

  • How these laws affect employees of licensed premises
  • Harm Minimisation provisions of the gambling laws
  • Legislative provisions for responsible gambling provision
  • Minors & proof of age
  • Offences and penalties
  • Statutory & other signage
  • Self-exclusion schemes
  • Strategies for preventing underage gambling
  • Importance of advising patrons of assistance available to problem gamblers
  • Implementation of House Policies and industry codes of practice
  • Understanding duty of care
  • Alcohol and gambling
  • Appreciating the benefits of conducting gaming in a responsible manner
  • About the industry, legislation and employer expectations

 

Pre-requisites:

  • There are no pre-requisites for this course.

 

Training Course Outcomes

  • After successful completion participants will receive a NSW RCG Interim Certificate from the Office of Liquor, Gaming and Racing (OLGR) , which must be taken to Service NSW to Order the NSW Photo ID.
