Certificate III in Hospitality
Certificate III in Hospitality is offered under the NSW Government Smart and Skilled programe and will commence at our Parramatta Training Centre in April 2016 and will be offered two days per week and provides participants with a suite of skills they need to work in the food and beverage sector of the industry.
Participants are trained in the 'service cycle' and learn everything from setting tables, to seating customers, to taking orders, to serving drinks, serving plates of food, clearing tables and finalising the customer account and then everything in between.
Participants are also trained in bar operations and learn how to set up a bar for service, take drink orders and then prepare and serve alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks, including Cocktails prepare and finalise customer accounts and process financial transaction.
Participants learn how to coach other staff in job duties, how to manage a food safety plan and get an understanding of the demands of management.
The course timetable is offered over 8 weeks at Hospitality Training Australia's Parramatta Training Centre.
USI: The Commonwealth Government have recently introduced 'Unique Student Identifier' numbers. It's mandatory that all students attending this course register for a free USI prior to commencement. Registering only takes a few minutes.
The fee for this course is set by the NSW Government as part of their Smart and Skilled programe and a $240.00 enrolment fee applies for eligible individual students who meet their guidelines. All students attending this course in 2016 will receive
- Student workbooks for all study modules;
- Full participation in all training and assessment activities;
- Certificate III in Hospitality
